Where can I get a value and sell a collector's plate w Dale Earnhardt Sr's Autograph?
I have a collector's plate he signed, and two die cast model cars (#3). When I search, the things that come up are either photographs, reproductions, or framed 'etchings' of his signature. Any experienced DH Sr collectors out there? Thanks. I don't want to sell it, but need to...
The value of an item like that is going to be just opinions from collectors or dealers. There is no set "book" price. It's worth what you can get.
Try taking it to some dealers and see what they think.

Princess Diana Autographs
Princess Diana autographs are among the most sought autographs of royalty. Since her fairytale wedding to Prince Charles in 1981, autographs of Princess Diana have gained steadily in popularity.
Interest in Princess Diana skyrocketed in 1997, when Christie's in New York City held a charity auction of Diana's gowns. A few fortunate attendees had their auction catalogs signed when Princess Diana visited the auction. As the value of her autograph escalated, individuals who had something signed by Princess Diana gradually offered their items to the autograph marketplace. Christmas cards, signed photographs, and notes that were were short and humorous, began to appear in catalogs and auctions. Autograph dealers had to be especially vigilent because many of the items that were purportedly her original signature were, in fact, machine signed by an autopen.
Princess Diana's autograph is constructed with an element of artistry, making it difficult for forgers to duplicate an original Princess Diana signature. Usually done with a thick pen, every letter of "Diana" can be easily discerned. The letters "a" and "n" in her name was penned by Diana with a cursive flair that is difficult to replicate.
Collectors of Princess Diana'a autographs have valued the most common available forms of her autographed material, namely Christmas cards and photographs. Other forms of her autographs such as legal documents and handwritten letters are very rare and desirable. Only one autographed check of Princess Diana is known to exist. The check is made out to a well-known costume jewelry designer and is signed as Lady Spencer, her identification before her marriage to Prince Charles.
Princess Diana touched the heart of millions across the world with her devotion to humanitarian causes. Princess Diana autographs are destined to be collected and treasured for many generations to come.
